RaeAnn kicks off spring!

RaeAnn made this beautiful picture. Spring is getting close, and Easter is around the corner. This picture represents spring properly. She loves to color and paint. She spent some serious time on this pic. I have the most incredible kids in the world!

My son is amazing!

My son impresses me every day. He has this computer game "Zoo Tycoon 2" that he loves to play and this is a pic of the game disc that he sketched free hand! I may be biased but his attention to detail is amazing! Notice how he even colored the bottom of the banana brown, and how the buildings and the guy and the umbrella get smaller as they get further away. Also, notice how the monkey has his leg over the word "zoo". He already is starting to understand how to deliver a focal point....at 8! I'm proud of my little artist. Can you look at the monkey and not laugh? If you can...go see a doctor because you need some meds.
If you want to see the pic he drew from...just google Zoo Tycoon 2 and look at the images of the box the game comes in. We no longer have the box, but the pic on the game disc is the same..just smaller.

Broncos get Travis Henry...

The Denver Broncos acquire a previous pro bowl 1000 yd running back from the Titans. I have good feelings about this guy. T. H. said he got chills when he heard that the Broncos wanted him on the squad. With his style of running and our high octane run it down your throat kind of game play, next year should be interesting. About time we got a running back to add to our long list of great backs. It's been a while. Another addition to our team is a better than average Corner Back that will play opposite the Champ...Dre Bly:

I have a feeling that interceptions will be an every game thing with the Broncos this year. He has the fourth-most interceptions in the league since 1999 and places eighth among all active players with 33 interceptions....bad news for opponents that rely on the side away from Champ for their receptions....really bad news.

DenverDawgs Toast.....

There are many good reasons for drinking, One has just entered my head, If a man doesn't drink when he's living, How the hell can he drink when he's dead?

Happy St. Patty's day to ye!

Well its off to the lake for Deidra and I. We will be going out with her sister and her husband for a night out on the town. Probably wont be coming home tonight, so I need to find a place to crash...not too many $39 a night places at the lake:)

"Slainte!"

Happy early St. Patrick's Day!

So Saturday is St. Patty's day. I love this time of year! Spring is on its way and with every passing weekend the days get warmer and warmer. True, I am not a huge fan of "hot" days, but I love a nice breezy warm day. This weekend Deidra and I are going to celebrate our anniversary by going out and letting loose. We will have some green beer and some good food and probably act like kids again. After all the hard work we will be able to finally enjoy a weekend together. She is no longer working weekends and its time to take advantage of our weekends again.

An old Irish blessing:

"May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rain fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand."

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Time to Celebrate!

Deidra has worked 21 straight days with no days off for her clinicals. As of tomorrow afternoon, that is over...finally! Time for us to settle down with some bubbly and watch a movie and enjoy her first day off starting tomorrow night. Next weekend we will need to do something fun.
Well we got a call from the person who sells us our beef. Our half a beef is done and ready to be cut into yummy steaks. I will call tomorrow and get the ball rolling at the butcher shop. By early next week my freezer will be filled to the top with my BBQ fixins for the year! Time to dust off the Q and get it ready for some serious steak grillin! Spring is about to start at this house!
"TIME TO SET YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD ONE HOUR AFTER DARK TOMORROW. ITS THAT TIME AGAIN!"
I wish they would do it on a Friday at about 3:00PM

New season of South Park...

So the new season of South Park starts tomorrow night! Anyone who has seen the show knows it can be a bit....not right...at times. There are some of them that I wont watch and some that I love. I can't wait to see how they get the public stirring this season. Should be fun to watch. They have a way to bring out the topics that most think but don't say in day to day life. All in all a fun show to watch.

Next big purchase: The iPod

So, my buddy George and I are at the YMCA on Monday and he brings his iPod. I have to say that I was more than jealous and in awe. Deidra has been wanting one for a long time now, but I have not really thought much of it. Truth is I didn't know much about it. After seeing one first hand and getting to play with it I see why she wants one so bad. The only way to go is to get the 80 GB version so that is what I intend to do. I am so serious about it that I have already downloaded iTunes and have been downloading songs and movies and podcasts pretty much non stop since yesterday. The iPod is not only for music. You can watch shows or movies on it and also keep a bunch of photo's on tap. The memory on these things is just plain sick! Just click "HERE" to see the specs. It is truly a fun toy to have. A bit pricey, but Deidra has worked hard for it and has never asked for anything of her own.

February 2007 almost over!

I just can't believe how quick these last two months have gone! Deidra has a couple more weeks of her clinicals and then she will be able to enjoy a weekend again. She has busted her butt the last couple weeks and has not had a day off since she started her clinicals. We are going to celebrate her first full weekend off by heading off again to an undisclosed location (cuz we know not where, as of yet) with the kids for some more r&r pool and hot tub time. As soon as it warms up, we are planning to go camping for the first time this year. We will probably do that on the trip after next. Spring is almost here! For those of you who have been keeping up with this blog since its beginning in 2005 you know I love the winter and usually am upset at this time of year cuz we never get any snow. This year has been different. For the first time in almost a decade we have had a real winter! Some good snow fell and the temp fell to a reasonable "winter" degree. I am ready for the spring for the first time in a long while. Those of you close to me know how much I love the spring and early summer thunder storms. This year I plan on taking some pics of the weather here in Missouri for our memories of this ho hum state. Some of the good things this state has to offer is great fishing, nice camping, good wine and an occasional cool thunderstorm. Hopefully this year will have a few good storms.Welp...on to the last week of February 07. I can see March on the horizon. 1/6 of the year is almost officially over! One more step closer to our goal. Woo HOO!

Jeez....I need to update this blog eh???

Ok, so I keep saying I will update this thing, and I don't.  I HAVE BEEN ONE BUSY SUCKAFOO!  A quick overview: Our tomato plants grew ...
