Quick Pics of the basement.

Here are some pics of the basement. Many of you have been asking how it looks so here it is. A bit messy but it is now our "R&R" room so its functional...not full of pretty furniture yet. Will make it more "perty like" when we put it on sale.

Before we go downstairs...look at our new carpet in our living room. We love it.
The TV nook in the wall.

Max sitting on our new stairs...

Looking up the first level of our stairs from the basement.

Picture looking into the hallway to the stairs...those of you who remember the above ceiling and its mess...will understand just how awesome the tan arch part of the ceiling truly is!

The lighting was put up by Deidra's dad and bro. They did a great job.

Another fan and some track lighting over where a wet bar could be.

Here is the Sink and the mirror we put in. You can kinda see the tile I laid.

Here is a pic from the basement door..the T.V. sits inside a void that I dry walled and framed in myself. There was a hideous wooden entertainment center that used to be there...when we removed it we realized that the walls were not finished behind or above it. They are now!

Some of my Tile work in front of the basement door.

Another view of the basement door area..the door to the left is the bathroom you saw above.
Even though there is a finished bathroom down here...we still find ourselves running up stairs when the need arises...not used to it yet.
Love to have new carpet! We did (Deidra and I) all the framing at the bottom of the walls ourselves. Yet one more talent we will remember for our next house!
