Here it comes!!!

So here it comes. They say a possible 8 inches in central Missouri by tomorrow afternoon and 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice accumulation by tomorrow morning. If the kids school is canceled, I will take off work to stay home with them and maybe whoop out the sled and let them have some winter fun outside. This would be the first time in over 5 years that Taylor has seen it snow enough for that and the first time in RaeAnns life that it has snowed here more than a light dusting. If it snows like they say it will, they will flip out! Come on SNOW!!!

I will post tomorrow morning if it snows with some pics. I can't help but believe that it is going to blow around us and miss us completely but hopefully I am wrong this time. I remember what it was like before a big winter storm, and I have to admit...this time it looks as though we are in for the real deal. At least I hope so.

Snow on the way??

So they say that a "Major Winter Storm" is on the way. Well I hope that it is true, but I have been through my share of Missouri's "Storm Warnings" and I have to admit it is wrong most of the time. Anyhoo it is supposed to come in tonight and you know I will be posting the outcome tomorrow morning.

In Family news:
Deidra has finished another set of finals in college and did great on all of them. We are finally in the last phase of her schooling. She is doing her clinicals as of now but her school work is done until January. She says she is enjoying the hands on experience she is getting and I am so proud of her.

In Bronco news:
Well as all you Bronco fans out there know, we lost to the Chiefs last week and are now sitting in 3d place in the division. Well we are actually tied for 2nd but the standings show us in the 3d spot. Good news though! It seems as though Jake Plummer has had his last chance to lead this great team, and now Coach has called in the rookie Jay Cutler to take the wheel. I have good feelings about this guy. I think our problems will soon come to an end.

I must apologize for not keeping up with the blog lately. The last several weeks have been crazy with all the stuff going on. Last week was Thanksgiving as you all know, and with that comes all the family stuff. The week prior to that was Deidras finals week and that brought stress to both her and I. We have also purchased ceramic tile for the hall and kitchen and will be installing that in the coming week. I promise to try and do better with the blog. Just hang in there. Things will get better.

Happy Holidays guys.

Come on SNOW!!!

BRONCO COUNTRY MOVES TO 7-2!

Broncos decide to start playing in the 3d quarter and destroy the Raiders chance of saving face by ripping the ball and the Raiders dreams of a win from the unworthy hands of their pitiful QB. Notice how he cries and pee's himself. RIP Raiders. On to next week and a battle for first place against the Chargers.

Silver Dollar City Weekend.

Had a great weekend with Deidra's family. We all went to Branson and got to go to Silver Dollar City! The lights were beautiful and the show "A Christmas Carol" was as great as ever. Deidra, I and the kids also went to the Bass Pro everyone always talks about followed by Lamberts for some good country grub on Friday night. This was so much fun that I have decided to make this a yearly thing no matter what. Nice to get away from town for a couple days. I owe a great deal of thanks to Deidras family for the invite. We had a great time!

Broncos Destroy Steelers 31-20! Go 6-2!

When will teams learn not to throw it to the guy defended by Champ Bailey? Well, lesson learned the hard way for big Ben. On to next week, and the poor Oakland Raiders. I will cry for them tonight. I have a feeling that it will be pretty ugly for the gayders.

Our second loss of the season. Broncos fall to 5-2.

I have to admit. I knew Payton would score on us, however I was surprised we put up 31 ourselves. Our Offense stepped up and Mike Bell made the Colts D look sqweemish. We got close to giving the Colts their first loss. Closer than any other team this year. On to next week and the Steelers. Time to get even.
