Hope everyone had a great holiday!

We went to the air show in Columbia yesterday. We had a pretty good time. It was hot, and there were not as many air displays this year. The F-18 show was great as usual, but shorter than usual. They usually have more than one in the air at once, but this time only one. The Stealth didn't show this year either. They seem to be cutting down a bit for some reason. None the less we had a good time. Mom and Dad, Michelle and Dylan and Evan came too. They had a miniature fighter plane for the kids to get in...as you can see by the pic above.
We BBQ'd tonight. It stormed and rained but that is how I roll. If I plan a BBQ....I BBQ. Double stamped - No erasies! Nothing can stop my Q style.

Deidra starts school again tomorrow. Just to think that this is half over...Crazy! Time to get ready for bed.

Fishing Time is here!!!

Ok....ok.... on first glance it looks as though I am the world record holder in Blue Cat fishing. That fish happens to be the real deal...world record. The fact that "I" am holding it is just some photo magic. I can dream though.. Time to re-up my fishing license and get out there to get mine! Have a great holiday weekend everyone!

Looks like its going to warm up!

As you can see by the Weather Channel...(Click on the pic to the left to see the temps!) Jefferson city is going to warm up! Time to check the air conditioners for problems. 90's are on the way.

RaeAnn Turns 4!

My little girl turned 4 this week on the 2nd. We went to Chucky Cheese on Tuesday just us 4 and then on Saturday we went to Miner Mikes at the lake with Deidra's family. Today we went to my mom and dads house to celebrate again! She had so much fun that even with all the running around, it was worth it. She got her first bunch of Barbie stuff. She is growing up too fast. I am now trying to create a magic potion to keep her and Taylor little. I have had no success as of yet but am hopeful...

The Lizards are growing!!

As you can see, the crickets we are feeding these guys are making them very happy! Chubbers is about twice the size of Croike so we have to remove Chubbs from the cage during feeding time to give Croike a fighting chance at snagging a belly full before we let the big boy have his fill. Croike ate about 25 crickets today, Chubbs ate around 50. Yum Yum! They are so much fun to watch.
